Sanctity is the only UK organisation whose sole aim is to allow pre-married transsexual people & their partners to remain married after transition. Are we are one step closer to our goal? The government are finally consulting on exactly what we have been campaigning for since 2006. After a meeting yesterday with representatives of the Government  Equalities Office, Equality & Human Rights Commission and the Ministry of Justice, kindly arranged and hosted by GIRES and Unison we are we may at last be closer to achieving our aims. However there are still problems with the proposals! Why should loving couples be forced to annul a good marriage & set up a civil partnership?
